Royal London

Buckingham Palace, the Changing of the Guard, Horseguards Parade – no visit to London would be complete without a good dash of Royal pomp and pageantry.

I’ll get you the ‘best seats in the house’ for the Guard Change, tell you the stories about Buckingham Palace (including some unexpected visitors), and then we can stroll along to the Royal Mews and see the Gold State Coach the King rode in after his coronation. Or we could walk along to Horseguards and you can have your picture taken with a member of the Household Cavalry.

Or we can visit some of the other Royal Palaces in and around London: Kensington Palace, where Queen Victoria was born; Hampton Court with its associations with Henry VIII, or Windsor, the medieval fortress that has been a royal residence for over 900 years.

Don was awesome! He knew the best spots to catch the changing of the guards, and was a pleasure to spend the morning with.

Don was the best – We highly recommend him – he was super knowledgeable, easy to chat with, helpful with ideas for us to enjoy our time in London. Taking us to the Guard Museum and Guard Chapel was our favourite. By far the best part of our vacation.
